Location Description Kaprun

The European sports region, 80 km southwest of Salzburg, with the neighboring towns of Zell am See (757 m), Kaprun (763 m) and Piesendorf (785 m) extends between the Hohe Tauern National Park in the south, the Kitzbüheler Alpen in the west and the Lake Zell in the east. The small town of Zell am See, situated on the west bank of the lake of the same name, invites you to stroll with its beautiful old town. Numerous cozy inns, restaurants and bars. 8 km from Zell am See, You will find the former mountain village Kaprun, which has become an attractive year-round destination thanks to the development of the glacier ski area on the Kitzsteinhorn. Between Zell am See (9 km) and Kaprun (5 km), with a clear view of the three thousand meter peaks of the Hohe Tauern, lies Piesendorf with nice village inns, a swimming pool and many cycling and hiking trails. Swimming lake in Niedernsill (6 km).
